Vibes in the Park

Vibes in the Park celebrates Black life and coming together as a collective from the music to the food, the people, and the atmosphere. It’s a recreation of a gathering that once existed when friends & families came together at City Park in Denver, CO. Our concept promotes Black joy, elevates Black expression, and inspires Black positivity. This experience has brought us a tranquil atmosphere in which to explore what it truly means to be Black. Vibes in the Park is founded by three Black women with a shared mission to empower their community. As Black people struggled to unite, connect, and celebrate their cultures in the midst of the pandemic and George Floyd's murder, they initially created a safe and social distancing space where they could bring people together. They recognized the need for a platform that uplifted and celebrated Black voices and provide support to Black people everywhere.
