Third World Newsreel and the Doc Forum at CCNY

Third World Newsreel is an alternative non profit media center that focuses on media by and about people of color and social justice issues, through distribution, exhibition, production and training.  Its Seminars and Workshops have trained thousands of BIPOC filmmakers over 5 decades. It is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, Color Congress, the Mosaic Fund, the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn Charitable Trust, the Peace Development Fund and individual donors.
