D'Sheadra Dot Benford/The Krafty Chick first learned how to make jewelry at the age of 8 at a jewelry making class at Chicago State University by Ms. Ethel Mayfield. It was through this class that allowed for D'Sheadra's creativity to flow; and eventually exploded into a business.
