The Hub of HOPE, Inc.

The Hub of HOPE (where HOPE stands for Helping Other People Eat) is dedicated to combating food insecurity across the Fredericksburg region. Our mission is to provide access to nutritious food, support community resilience, and ensure that no one goes hungry.

Founded in August 2020, Hub of HOPE (HOH) has rapidly grown to become a central force in addressing food insecurity challenges in the Fredericksburg area. We have built strategic partnerships with other food access agencies, other local nonprofits, Civic organizations, and community volunteers, making a measurable impact on food access and community health.

Last year, HOH 4x its service goals and served more than 43,000 lbs of freshly prepared meals with more than 90,000 prepared meals to children, seniors and families in need. More than 70% of these meals were delivered to strategic, sponsored sites, camps and centers for children that face food insecurity daily.
