Southern Roots Farm, LLC is family-owned and fully operational farm nestled in 18 acres of quiet woods and located in between beautiful Lake Anna in Bumpass, VA (Louisa County) and Richmond. While our main focus is on the wooded raising of hogs, we wanted to share in the beauty of our property so we also provide an on-site community events as well as wedding and event areas.

We are a family-owned and managed farm. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. Our pork is processed in USDA inspected plants, vacuum packed, labeled according to USDA guidelines and frozen. In addition to eating healthy food from a known sources that is proven to be healthier that store bought meats, and you will also be supporting local agriculture and small businesses when purchasing products from us.

Our goal is to provide members of our local community with safe, delicious, high quality, nutrient dense foods. No hormones, antibiotics or steroids are fed to or injected into our animals or the others produced and carried in our store, EVER. We also treat our animals with respect and compassion and provide them with lots of loving care to ensure they have the best possible lives while here on the farm.
