Rahway River Watershed Association

The purpose of the Rahway River Watershed Association is to protect and restore the Rahway River and its ecosystem. The Rahway River provides drinking water to residents of the City of Rahway, habitat that supports wildlife biodiversity, and recreational opportunities such as hiking, fishing, boating, birding, and biking. We host hikes, bird walks, clean ups and other events to enjoy nature together and to raise awareness of the ecological resources and threats to same in the watershed and build capacity for stewardship of these resources.
