PtownBears

The Provincetown Bears, better know as the PtownBears is an organization created by the late John Burrows to support the Bear community in Provincetown year round. From this organization Bear Week Provincetown™ was born. Originally a weekend event focusing on parties, bar and restaurant catering to the Bear community and their admires, it quickly grew beyond the limits of a couple of club parties and needed a more robust event encompassing the entire town. It is then that Bear Week Provincetown™ expanded to a week long event including multiple bars, dance clubs, restaurants, shops, galleries, walking & bus, cabarets and show venues. Everyone is welcome to participate in all activities sponsored by PtownBears. We are an all inclusive organization and welcome all parts of the LGBTQ+ community to join us for this one of a kind week long event. Registrants benefit from the many discounts offered to Bear Week Provincetown™ Tag holders including free or discounted entrance into parties and dance clubs, discounts on walking/bus tours such as a Wine & Beverage Tour, Sunset Beach Tour, Haunted Provincetown Walking tour and the Cape Cod Lighthouse Tour.
