Hygge House Books

Hygge House Books is a traveling pop-up bookshop. We specialize in book tastings, which is like a wine tasting, but better because...books! We travel to your home, school, business, or host site and bring a curated selection of books to fit any crowd or occasion. It's a fun way to get together and discover new reads without being bombarded by choice.

Hygge is a Danish word that is loosely translated to "cozy", but it's more of a feeling of calm and contentment in the moment you're in. Hygge House Books is about cultivating that feeling through books and gathering. We are always looking for unique ways to promote literacy and support local authors and businesses--from pop-up shops at a local establishment, to author events or one-of-a-kind birthday parties.

On top of all that, we donate all net profits to buy books local school and children's programs in need.
