Hi, I'm Ranger Darling, the founder of Hikes of Georgia. I'm a park ranger, mycology enthusiast, and a passionate/experienced hiker who loves exploring Georgia's beautiful landscape and foraging. It's taken years to get to this point but It was all worth it, as an experienced hiker and fungi expert, I know how intimidating it can be to get started with hiking, which is why I created Hikes of Georgia to help others discover the joys of hiking in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Our guided hikes are designed for all skill levels, from novice to advanced hikers, and we aim to provide a cost-effective and enjoyable experience for everyone with great educational value regarding local mushrooms and plants.
