EmpowerHer Lowell

EmpowerHer is part of a larger global organization called Girls Learn International, which has chapters worldwide. We are one of well over 200 chapters around the world. Girls Learn International’s general goals are to empower and educate middle and high schoolers to advocate for human rights, educational, and universal equity. At Lowell EmpowerHer specifically, we hold meetings to educate our school community about issues, especially as they pertain to women. Our other main goal is to fundraise for Unatti Nepal, which is a school in Nepal. All of the funds go towards women’s health education and period products for the girls at Unatti Nepal.
