Chester County Highway Safety

The Chester County Highway Safety Project (CCHSP) is housed within the Chester County Department of Emergency Services. Our main goal is to help reduce unnecessary injuries and fatalities on our roadways through educational programs, trainings and community events.

CCHSP offers free programs to all schools, colleges, community groups, church groups, hospitals and businesses. We also have a resource library full of information relating to car seat safety, pedestrian safety, school bus safety, motorcycle safety, bike safety, DUI, DUI-D, mature driver safety, to name a few.

Additionally, CCHSP sets up law enforcement trainings, schedules all aggressive driving and occupant protection enforcement details with law enforcement agencies, conducts car seat checks each month and attends health and wellness fairs throughout the County.
