Chef Jordan Chestnut

Hello,

My name is Jordan Chestnut. I have been cooking professionally for about sixteen years in restaurants and as a private chef all over the country. Some of my experiences as a chef include working at Vine Street Cafe in the Hampton's and Eleven Madison Park, a three Michelin star restaurant in NYC. These experiences not only taught me how to use food as an art form, but how to combine flavors and aromas in a creative way. Over the last few years, I have been able to travel to Japan, Spain, Latin America, Indonesia, and the Caribbean to truly experience the people and culture. This has allowed me to develop my own style of cooking which comes from family, and friends, traveling and working in both casual and fine-dining restaurants. I personally love comfort food and open-fire cooking which almost always comes through in my cooking. At this time I am simply looking to share my learned experience and have a great time teaching cooking classes.
