The Buckeye Trail Association (BTA) is dedicated to building, maintaining, protecting, and promoting Ohio's 1,444-mile Buckeye Trail—a scenic and diverse path that showcases the state's natural beauty and cultural heritage. As Ohio’s premier long-distance trail organization, we connect communities, foster outdoor recreation, and inspire people to discover and preserve the great outdoors.

We host a variety of events, including guided hikes, trail maintenance work parties, educational programs, and our annual TrailFest celebration. Whether you're looking to explore a new section of the trail, learn new skills, or give back to the trail community, we have something for everyone.
