Yadkin Valley Rotary Duck Regatta '25

Join Rotary for a spectacular, or 'quack-tacular', time on the Big Elkin as it partners with NC Trail Days to bring back a rubber duck regatta for the Elkin Valley Trails Associaiton (EVTA). Purchase a duck for $5 throughout the month of April to support the EVTA and Rotary (proceeds split 50/50). Price increases to $10 on May 1st - June 7th. The first duck descend the dam and meet our netters will recieve a $500 cash prize. Second and third place recieve smaller cash prizes or gift baskets with subsequent winners recieving local business gift certificates as available.

The race will take place on Saturday, June 7th during the latter half of NC Trail Days' vendor village happening in the downtown area (Main Street, Front Street and Standard Street), so take the short walk over to the library where you can get a good view of the dam falls where the ducks will plunge. Ducks drop from the Elk Spur Street bridge and will finish below the falls where winners will be identified around 4:30 or thereabouts. Check FAQs for winners and regatta results.
