Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, this in-person event is the perfect opportunity to unleash your imagination and start writing in a judgment-free zone. Immerse yourself in a supportive community of fellow wordsmiths, where you can learn elements of the craft, practice writing, and share your words in a collaborative, fun, and very safe environment. Frequently asked questions

What can I expect at Write Night?

Inspiration. During the first half of the night, attendees will receive helpful prompts and writing activities. During the second half of the night, writers will be encouraged to share their work with others in a safe, encouraging, and very inspirational environment.

What kind of writer do I have to be?

Writers of any genre are welcome--from comedy to poetry, fiction and non, screenwriters, novelists, songwriters and more. If you write or want to improve your writing and be inspired to create, you're welcome to join us.

Do I have to write and do I have to share it?

You should come with a notebook, a writing utensil, and be prepared to write. In the second half of the evening, writers will be encouraged to share what they wrote but that is certainly not required.

How old do I have to be to participate?

Technically, this is an all-ages venue, but due to the potential for mature themes and subject matter, Write Night is best suited for 16+. However, younger adults are permitted to attend with the explicit understanding that Write Night is a Free Speech event.
