About this event

This is an inclusive and encouraging event designed to help people build confidence and get back on their bikes. The event will provide a supportive environment through a led bike ride, hosted by Civic and delivered by the fantastic Women on Wheels – more on these organisations below.

The ride will begin at the Civic Offices on Virginia Street. From there, we will head to nearby Glasgow Green, where the off-road space provides a safe environment to build confidence. Finally, depending on the group's preference, we will explore some of Glasgow’s growing network of cycle lanes, demonstrating how you can cycle safely around the city.

If you do not have access to a bike but would like to attend, that’s no problem! However, please let us know in advance so we can arrange a suitable bike for you.

For this or any other questions or queries, please email Ben Raw (Climate Hub Manager at Civic) at ben@team-civic.com.
