From the very small to the very large: Underneath the gaze of Overlook mountain, participants will explore the intricate details of flowers and insects using magnifying glasses and field microscopes. This workshop happens during golden hour to offer the most maximal, luscious, observation of beauty.


About Kristen Garnier


Garnier has been an estate gardener and passionate advocate for nature in our region for over 25 years. She has collected, identified and preserved over 150 plants growing in Saugerties and Woodstock, New York. In 2020, she received the Susana Meyer Creative Arts grant through ​ShoutOut Saugerties that culminated in an exhibit called Wet/Land. In 2021 she began building a preserved plant library collection at White Feather Farm. ​Garnier is passionate about sharing her understanding and love of the flora that surrounds us.
