Discover the fo od and medicine of nature on an educational hike through the woods.

~WILD HERBS TOUR: ($65/person) 1.5 HRS, Come meet the edible & medicinal plants of Monterey while taking an easy stroll through nature. Learn about wild edible and medicinal plants with the guidance of an experienced local herbalist. In this hands-on educational experience, you'll stroll through a beautiful nature reserve. You'll get to know several different edible and learn about the medicinal properties of the herbs of the forest. Also learn about which plants are poisonous and how to identify them. *Depending on the season, availability and park conditions, foraging might be included ;edible flowers, leaves, seeds, and berries. (we do not forage for mushrooms)

~FAMILY PACKAGE: ($65/adult, $40/child)~2 HRS, This is a kid-friendly tour where families will enjoy learning about common edible and medicinal plants at a lovely nature reserve. Kids will stay engaged with fun kid's activities, like an interactive map with stickers to help them learn about the plants we'll meet. (Family tours are private only)

~WILD HERBS TOUR & HORS D'OEUVRES TASTING: ($105/person) ~3 HRS, This one's for those that love both nature and food. Bring all your foodie friends along for this elevated and unique tasting experience. In addition to the Wild Herbs Tour experience, you'll get to enjoy a 3 course tasting of delicious wild-food hors d'oeuvres and an herbal tea blend, all prepared and served by your herbalist-host.


For all tours; We will be meeting at a local cafe first, and then guests will need to drive themselves 5-8 mins to the hiking location. It will be an easy ~1 mile walk, with a little elevation gain.

These are small group tours only (1-6 people).


** We hike Rain or Shine, so dress for the weather, and have simple rain gear if rain is expected.****

Some are medicine, some are food...some are both! Learn how plant medicine can be use to manage or improve health. Find out about the ancient relationships that some plants have with humans. Also learn how plants communicate with each other and with us!
