Los Angeles, CA – The Century City Alumnae Chapter (CCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly presents the inaugural ““Well Red, Well Fed: Taste of Black Excellence,” a dynamic afternoon affair that blends philanthropy, fine culinary tastings, and cultural celebration. Taking place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the distinguished Wilfandel Club House in Los Angeles, this signature event shares our community support in spotlighting Black excellence through literature, social action, and economic empowerment.
A Taste of Black Excellence builds upon the legacy of Well Red, an event that marries social action with community engagement, through book donations supporting the Los Angeles Prison Literature Program. Event proceeds support our organization’s youth programs, social action initiatives, and scholarships. “Well Red represents more than an event—it’s a movement,” said Tracey Waters and RoCoco Devereaux, chapter members and event co-chairs. “It’s about bridging access to literature while celebrating the richness of Black culture through food, spirits, and fellowship.
