About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours 30 minutes

Effective weed management is crucial in agriculture. Weeds compete with crops for resources and can harbor pests and diseases, ultimately impacting crop quality and profitability. For effective weed management, a combination of control management strategies and practices should be used.

Learn about the weed management tools to help keep weeds under control this growing season. Topics covered include tillage and hoeing, weed identification, cover crops, mulches, and pesticide safety.

Water and Lunch will be provided. This will be an outdoor event, so please dress accordingly for the sunny weather. We have a porta potty available on site. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be relocated to an online platform.

Please park along West Bay Ave.
