Hear talks on Guyasuta, Lafayette, Gist, Trent, and more. This annual event is extremely popular and seating is limited, so we encourage you to get your tickets today. Sorry but we cannot accomodate walk-ins and advance registration is required. The day includes a light continental breakfast, breaks, lunch, speakers, networking, vendors and exhibits, and silent auction to win some outstanding gifts including French & Indian War-related artwork, books and maps. Bring some cash with you for visiting the vendors and purchasing your silent auction tickets. Everything else is included in your registration fee.

Please, no recording of speakers. Come early and get a seat near the front! Doors open at 8:15 AM, program begins promptly at 9 AM. The venue is fully handicapped accessible. The lunch menu should accomodate most dietary restrictions.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay by check?

Yes. Download the registration form from WashingtonsTrail.org, and mail payment to the address provided on the form.

Can I just show up without registering?

Nope. Sorry. The Country Club requires a head count a week ahead of the event for food preparation. Our volunteers print nametags, handouts, list of attendees, in advance. If you expect to receive the lunch and handouts you are paying for, please register in advance!!

Will the event be videotaped or livestreamed?

No, we do not have the capability to videotape or livestream. We hired a videographer a couple of years ago to tape one speaker and found it to be cost prohibitive.

How do I apply to be a vendor?

We invite vendors who focus on themes around French and Indian War, Native Americans, George Washington, etc. Summit registration is required. To inquire about being a vendor, send an email ASAP to george@washingtonstrail.org.

Are children allowed?

While we love kids, this is really an adult-oriented program. Trust me, your kids would be bored. However, young people who are interested in history are welcomed and encouraged to attend, ask questions, visit the vendors, and get engaged in Washington's Trail 1753 activities.
