Washington Community Festival After Party & Benefit
Come join us for a night of fun at the Washington Community Festival After Party & Benefit 6pm-11pm! The event will be held at the beautiful Wolff Hall Weddings and Events, in historic Washington, LA where we'll have live music, delicious food, and plenty of drinks to keep the party going. Ticket proceeds benefit our chosen charities: Healing House & American Legion. General admission tickets are $30, which include free food and music. Bar is cash/credit/debit. Healing House- Hope for Grieving Children offers a safe place for children to grieve the death of a parent, sibling, or significant person in their lives. Healing House is currently providing services for over 800 children annually through support groups at our facility, Randon’s Place at Healing House and through support groups within in the Lafayette and Iberia Parish Schools. For children attending their support groups at our facility, and adult group is offered for their caregivers. Healing House does not offer therapy or counseling but instead provides a safe place in which a child/teen can cry, get angry, talk, throw things, scream, or just sit and remember the person who died. By associating with other children who are going through a similar experience the children are able to feel understood and accepted.
