Spring is the best time for Warblers and Spring flowers. Join us as we search the trails of Kensington Metropark for flowers such as the Michigan Orchid and listen for migrating Warblers.
Visitors to Kensington can hand feed wild birds such as Black-capped Chickadee , Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch, Downy Woodpecker, and possibly others. We will provide the bird seed! This is a great opportunity for up-close observation and photos.
Leaders: Esha Biswas and Jim Mahon
Note: Entrance to the park requires an entrance fee or an annual metropark pass.
