About the Walk: Join Friends of the Fells for a morning hike at Virginia Wood ! We will meet at the Virginia Wood Trailhead in Stoneham at 1 Woodland Road. This will be a leisurely walk at a slow pace in the beautiful Fells forest. Along the way, we will stop for photos, water/snack breaks, and stretch our muscles. Feel free to bring binoculars and/or a camera in case we encounter any interesting critters!
Parking is available at the Virginia Wood Lot at 1 Woodland Road (Google Maps Location). Please note that there is limited parking available. We recommend that attendees dress in weather-appropriate attire and footwear in addition to carrying insect repellent and/or sunscreen.
