Vox Cor Trio is a unique ensemble composed of piano, trumpet and trombone that explores classical vocal music, aiming to share emotional journeys and stories without lyrics. The group was founded by Japanese pianist Mika Komuro in 2022 for her project “Without A Word”, and it had its debut in Cincinnati, OH that same year.

Since then Vox Cor Trio has been invited to play at chamber music series such as “Arts in the Village” in Rehoboth, MA, “Music at Main” in Cleveland, OH , “Music Live” in Cincinnati and others. Also, the trio was featured on Podcasts “Skill And Bones” hosted by Matthew Driscoll in 2024. Vox Cor Trio members are concert pianist, Mika Komuro, assistant professor of Trumpet at Pennsylvania State University, Dr. George Carpten,IV and South Bend Symphony Orchestra principal trombonist, David Roode.

Where should I park?

Parking for Heritage Green is available at the parking deck behind the Library only a short walk from the Museum's front door. Parking is free after 5:00 PM. A few of our patrons may also use the Upcountry History Museum's lot if they are not hosting an event that evening.
