Volunteer at beautiful Outer Island in Branford THIS summer.

Come to our Orientation Session to learn how:

  • greet visitors
  • help with educational programs
  • light maintenance
  • share in the rugged beauty of outer island


This training session will cover what you'll do as a volunteer at this beautiful National Wildlife Refuge in the Thimble Islands. You will explore nature and marine wildlife, help our environment, and enrich our community. You can welcome visitors, educate and/or do light maintenance. You only need to commit to working two half days all summer (but you'll probably want to do more!).
