With funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Cornell and a group of institutional partners have created the Upstate New York Energy Storage Engine to advance energy storage technology and boost large-capacity battery manufacturing in upstate New York.
This information session will outline opportunities specifically for Cornell researchers including an RFP for Research & Development Projects and Superboost grants for startups. The engine is currently requesting proposals to build a robust domestic lithium-ion and related battery manufacturing sectors that strive to achieve broad industry impact.
Cornell researchers working in energy storage and/or battery technology are encouraged to attend to learn more about this funding and training opportunity.
