Join the High Falls Conservancy for a cleanup and invasive species removal at Rondout Creek from 10:30 AM to 1 PM for the 14th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.
Volunteers will meet at Rondout Creek, below the falls near Main Street, High Falls 12440 (NY Rte 213), at Grady Park by the Flag Pole. Park in the municipal parking lot at High Falls Post Office.
We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer. Volunteers will be expected to sign a waiver created by Central Hudson, and volunteers cannot enter the creek.
This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.
