Turtle Cove Cleanup – May 3, 2025

Join the Hutchinson River Restoration Project and Riverkeeper for our annual Turtle Cove Cleanup on Saturday, May 3rd, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers can participate in a land-based cleanup or a water-based cleanup (for those bringing boats).

What to Bring:

✔ Boots
✔ Long-sleeve shirt
✔ Hat
✔ Sunscreen
✔ Bug spray
✔ Water
✔ Snack

We’ll provide gloves, grabbers, trash bags, and other cleanup supplies.

Additional Details:

  • Street parking is available.
  • Public transportation: BX29 buses stop within a five-minute walk.
  • Tickets: Please purchase a ticket for each participant to ensure an accurate headcount.
  • Waiver: By purchasing a ticket, you agree to our waiver, available at www.hutchinsonriver.org/cleanups.
  • Bringing your own boat? Email melissasw@hutchinsonriver.org to coordinate.
