Trivia kicks off at 6 PM and typically runs until 7:30–8 PM, depending on the number of teams playing.

ROUNDS 1 & 2

At the end of Rounds 1 and 2, teams will bring their answer sheets up for scoring. Once graded, the host will go over the correct answers, return the sheets, and award a $10 Mellow Mushroom gift card...

Nope! Just show up, grab a seat, and get ready to play. Trivia starts at 6 PM, so arriving early is the best way to snag a great spot!

How many people can be on a team?

Teams can have anywhere from 1 to 6 players, and each table is limited to 6 people. Keeping teams at a certain limit ensures a fair game, so gather your best trivia crew and let’s play!

What are the prizes?

We give away a $10 Mellow Mushroom gift card to the winning team of each round. The overall top-scoring team of the night wins a $50 Mellow Mushroom gift card! During Checkers hockey season, the top team often takes home four hockey tickets too!

What types of trivia questions are asked?

Each week features four themed rounds covering a mix of pop culture, history, movies, music, and more. If one round isn’t your strong suit, the next one might be your time to shine!

Are there food and drink specials?

Yes! Enjoy $4 draft beers all night while you snack on Mellow Mushroom’s famous pizzas, munchies, and cocktails.

Can I get a free answer before trivia starts?

Absolutely! Follow Game on Trivia on Instagram and Facebook to get a free answer every Sunday at 2 PM. It might just be the difference between winning and losing!

Do I have to stay for the whole event?

Nope! We award prizes for each round, so even if you can’t stay all night, you still have a shot at winning by playing a round or two.

What happens if there’s a tie?

No worries! Our hosts have tie-breaker questions ready to go. The team with the closest answer without going over wins the round or grand prize!

What if I arrive late?

No problem! Since we give out prizes every round, you can jump in at the start of the next one.

Where do I park?

There’s plenty of street parking and parking garages nearby in Uptown Charlotte. Plan to arrive a little early to find a good spot and settle in before the game starts.

Is there an age requirement?

Trivia is open to all ages, but you must be 21+ to enjoy the $4 draft beer specials.

What if I didn’t hear a question or need it repeated?

No worries—our Game on Trivia hosts always ask if anyone needs a repeat before moving on to the next round!
