Small batch ales and seltzers crafted with local ingredients. We love seasonal beers and cranberries.


Who We Are

Two South Shore guys that appreciate good times, good friends and good beer. 44 symbolizes many things: Rt. 44, in numerology it means hard work, it's also the jersey number of the late great Hank Aaron. Our logo is inspired by the Upland pheasants, a resilient bird that wanders our wonderful section of MA.

Frequently asked questions

Do you allow dogs?

Yes! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed in our taproom and lounge.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes. We also have Free Ranger Farm next door for pizza and sandwiches as well as the occasional food truck.

Can I bring in my own drink?

No, state law prohibits outside beverages in breweries. We do carry soft drinks and bottled water.

Do you have cans?

Yes, sometimes, check with us on what's in stock.

Are your seltzers gluten-free?

hey are gluten-sensitive. While we don't add glutens, our seltzer is made in the same equipment that we use to make our beer. We do chemically wash the equipment between batches.

What are your hours?

We open Mon. thru Fri. 3pm-10pm. Sat. noon-10pm/Sun noon-6pm.
