The Tree Felling workshop teaches directional felling using the open-face felling method, and techniques to stay in control while felling trees to reduce the risk of injuries and damage to residual trees or structures. Participants will be given the opportunity to fell standing trees up to 10 inches in a forested environment under close supervision of the instructors. Participants must have completed the chainsaw safety and handling workshop to take this course.
