This webinar explores a variety of techniques for transforming and analyzing text data in ways previously difficult or impossible to do in Excel:
- Master text cleaning techniques in Excel using Power Query for efficient data preparation.
- Utilize dynamic array functions like TEXTSPLIT() and TEXTJOIN() to streamline text manipulation.
- Apply regular expression functions in Excel to extract and organize complex text patterns.
- Analyze text data effectively using Excel's new Copilot features and Python integration.
- Develop workflows to automate text transformation tasks for repeated use across projects.
Prerequisites
- To make the most of this workshop you should be familiar with Excel concepts such as IF() statements and conditonal aggregation, lookup functions like VLOOKUP() and XLOOKUP(), and creating data summaries and reports with PivotTables.
- It is recommended to attend this session on a Windows machine with Microsoft 365 for desktop.
- No other preparation is needed. The workshop materials will be shared with you at the time of the event.
