Welcome to Trails and Ales!


Join the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy (SDRVC) for the relaunch of the popular Trails and Ales program, with hikes led by SDRVC and 4 partners from the San Diego Region. Come explore with us! Spring 2025, the second Tuesday of each month!

From March through July of 2025 join the San Diego Canyonlands, Lakeside River Park Conservancy, Volcan Mountain Foundation, Escondido Creek Conservancy and the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy for a guided hike and post-hike refreshments at a local motivation destination!


Explore scenic trails, enjoy refreshing ales, and connect with fellow nature enthusiasts!

ALL HIKES START PROMPTLY AT 4pm. Anticipate hiking until about `5:30pm then heading to the motivation destination.


$60 for the ENTIRE series ~ 5 organizations, 5 hikes, 5 motivation destinations!


March 18th: San Diego Canyonlands hike of Juniper Canyon followed by motivation destination: Station Tavern


April 8th: Lakeside River Park Conservancy hike of Lakeside River Park Trail followed by motivation destination: Ottavio's


May 13th: Volcan Mountain Foundation hike of Volcan Mountain followed by motivation destination: Nickel Brewing


June 10th: Escondido Creek Conservancy hike of Mountain Meadow Preserve followed by motivation destination: Burgeon Brewing


July 8th: San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy hike of the Crest Canyon Open Space followed by motivation destination: Viewpoint Brewing


Please note: Motivation Destination partners are offering first round free, any food or other beverages are at personal expense.
