About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours 30 minutes

Join the Trail Sisters as we get Rocky Point ready for Spring riding. No experience is required. Trail Sisters are women and nonbinary folks who love to support each other both on and off the trail.

The dig will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We are starting promptly at 9:30 a.m.

We will meet in the main parking lot and carpool up from there.

River City will be providing snacks, lunch, and stoke for the event!

What to bring:

  • Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt, pants, boots, gloves, eye protection, rain jacket
  • Hard hat or bike helmet (This is non-negotiable. Things fall in the forest. Just like when riding, protect your noggin.)
  • Water
  • Snacks
  • Optional: Your bike, favorite trail tool; hoes, McLeods, metal rakes, folding hand saws and loppers

Tools will be provided.

If you are unable to attend for any reason, please cancel your registration with at least 24-hours notice so others on the waitlist have an opportunity to come.

Mountain biking requires riders to confront their fears, biases, and preconceived notions: we know what it feels like to be fearful, uncomfortable, and out of our element while on a ride. While we believe that everyone's barriers should be respected, we know that mutual support will help get us past those barriers. We must boost each other up and push ourselves to improve both on and off the bike. NWTA wants a world where everyone feels welcome, safe, and free in the outdoors. As an organization, the NWTA is committed to creating a pathway to nature for everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, faith, and country of origin. Read our full Equity Statement here. All volunteers and participants in NWTA events are held to our Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Some Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA) programs, events, and activities require registration fees. Refunds will be issued in full for registration fee refund requests received no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the event start date and time. A partial refund of 50% will be issued for registration fee refund requests received after seven (7) days and up to twenty-four (24) hours before the start of the event. We apologize, but there are NO refunds less than twenty-four (24) hours before the event start date. Read our full refund policy.
