The Shift Workshop uses hands-on collaboration, design thinking, and business planning to help grow creative communities and economies.

In a day and a half, small teams work with certified facilitators to tackle real community challenges using collaboration, AI-powered insights, structured project and business planning. Guided by lean startup principles, participants develop solutions with clear one-year timelines and practical $10K– $25K budgets—ensuring projects are not just ideas, but ready for execution.

This workshop takes place over the course of 2 days. Registration is limited, and registration for this event requires commitment to attend both days.

The mission of the Northwest CT Arts Council is to engage the public in building a strong and connected arts and culture community that is integral to the economic development and the collective well-being of our region.
