"Today's Specials" is an hour long variety show hosted by Asian Takeout Improv, featuring Chicago's best comedians, musicians, performers and improvisers. We strive to highlight comedians and performers of AANHPI descent.
Our event takes place on the second Sunday of every month at Kamehachi in Old Town in their upstairs event space. During the show you can purchase food from our special "Asian Takeout" menu and order beverages or one of our specialty cocktails.
Every show has a new and unique lineup of acts! So follow us on instagram @asiantakeoutimprov to see who our guests are each month.

Yes, we will have a special "Asian Takeout" style menu for this show. Kamehachi can also accommodate most food allergies/preferences, just let your server know.
There are various options around the venue including paid street parking, free street parking on some streets, lot parking and spot hero parking.
There is not a "drink minimum" but there is a two item minimum, this includes pop/soda, basically anything on the menu (food/beverage purchased prior to the show in the downstairs restaurant of Kamehachi counts towards this minimum).
Walkup tickets are available but space is limited, out so we recommend purchasing ahead of time.
Our show welcomes all ages, however patron IDs will be checked at the door in order to be served alcohol. Young folks are welcome, however if they are under 18 we require that they are accompanied by an adult. We have new guests every week, so you never know what might happen (PG-13 ish).
The show runs approximately one hour long, give or take for late seating.
Unfortunately, not at this time.
