Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1964, and we are proud to have celebrated over 60 years of impactful service. Our mission is to uplift the community by advancing the standards, ideals, and general welfare of society through dedicated service. We promote and support initiatives that foster the betterment of individuals, families, and communities, aiming to create lasting change and improvement.

TLOD is comprised of over 125 chapters across the United States, with a dynamic membership of more than 7,500 Top Ladies and 3,500 Top Teens. Our organization is organized into six geographic regions, each focused on empowering and enriching the lives of youth and adults through national programs, projects, and strategic partnerships.

Central to our mission is the Top Teens of America (TTA) program, which provides young people with opportunities to realize their full potential and promotes their growth in areas such as education, social development, spiritual well-being, cultural awareness, and economic empowerment. We are also committed to improving the quality of life for Senior Citizens, advancing the status of women, and supporting Community Beautification efforts to preserve the physical beauty of our neighborhoods.

TLOD’s work includes impactful collaborations with organizations like the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), NAACP, UNCF, and initiatives focused on Sickle Cell Awareness and Literacy. Through these partnerships, we aim to create a more connected, educated, and compassionate society that is well-prepared for a global, technology-driven future.
