Our Third Annual Easter Egg Trail Hunt is happening at the farm on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Hop along two miles of our farm trails and search for eggs and prizes along the way. You could win a weekend getaway camping on the farm at one of our established campsites, products from our farm store, such as our breakfast basket which includes a dozen Animal Welfare Approved eggs, local coffee, our AWA meats, local jams and biscuit mixes, items made from our sheep wool, camping gear, local made chocolate baskets, camp cookout baskets, local soap and beauty baskets, plus local gift certificates and prizes.

Gates open at 10:30 AM. Trail hunt begins at 11:00 AM and will last one hour.

Children are welcome to attend with a paying adult. Or you can pay for a ticket for your child and collect more eggs for chances to win more prizes. Not recommended for childen under 6.

Frequently asked questions

Participants Limitations

We are allowing only 25 people to participate in the trail hunt. All participants must have a ticket. Children are allowed on the farm during the event, if they have a guardian present. You are allowed to purchase a ticket for your child or they can just help you collect.

Trail Conditions

We have over three miles of trails on the farm. There are small creeks, bridges, narrow paths to wide open areas. The trails can be steep with some elevation. All the paths are well marked but every participant will receive a farm trail map. Eggs will not be placed more than 10 feet off the trails.

Egg Limits

We will limit the number of eggs that can be collected per person. You may trade out eggs on the trail or with other participants.

Rain Date

This is a rain or shine event unless it is a complete downpour then we will reschedule on April 6

Prizes

Many of our prizes come from the farm and our local community and are valued over the event ticket.

Camping

We will have quiche (meat and veggie options) made from our Animal Welfare Approved eggs, soup, salad and drinks available for purchase.

The property has miles of trails along mountain spring fed steams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon and Old Rag Mountain trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries.
