A nonprofit initiative dedicated to accelerating the protein transition with taste. NECTAR conducts rigorous sensory analyses, celebrates exceptional products & supports brands in enhancing their offerings. By bringing an evidence-base to taste, we envision a future where doing good tastes great.
NECTAR conducts annual Taste of the Industry sensory panels with 1000s of omnivore consumers on 100s of alternative protein products. The results of this blind taste test determine the winners, with the top prize in each category awarded to the product(s) that have met or exceeded taste parity.

While we are not serving a full sit-down dinner, there will be generous hot & cold hors d'oeuvres, each featuring a TASTY Award winner, that should make a full meal. We will also be serving chef-crafted non-alcoholic cocktails and zero proof beer throughout the evening.
