This paddleboarding excursion is designed for all skill levels — BEGINNERS AREN’T JUST WELCOME, THEY’RE CELEBRATED! 🌊 Whether you bring friends or come solo, this is your chance to step away from the daily grind and reconnect with nature — and yourself.

Complimentary Snacks and Waters are available (everyone will have a softsided cooler and ice pack to keep drinks cold!)

Location will be: Howard Rd Boat Lauuch | Alum Creek | 5940 Howard Rd, Delaware, OH

During group excursions, you will be part of a guided group on the water. Before setting off, safety procedures and instructions will be reviewed. These excursions are very beginner-friendly. The guide will lead the group on the water for up to two hours.

One ticket is necessary per paddler. You have the option to bring your own watercraft or rent one of our beautiful paddleboards!

All participants must sign a waiver prior to joining the excursion; without a signed waiver, you will not be allowed to participate. We look forward to providing you with an unforgettable paddle boarding experience!

Paddlers must be 15 years old. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All paddlers must be comfortable with water and able to carry a paddleboard (27 pounds).


Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring to a paddle excursion with Zen Paddle?

We suggest bringing a towel, hat or sunglasses, and wearing a bathing suit or athletic wear. Everything you need for your paddle, including a flotation device, dry bag, and waterproof phone case, will be provided.

How long will we be on the water?

Expect to be on the water for at least 90 minutes.

Can I bring my own watercraft?

Yes, you can bring your own watercraft to the excursion.

What if it rains during the excursion?

Zen Paddle reserves the right to cancel any paddle due to inclement weather. In the event that we cancel an event, customers will receive a credit for a future paddle or a refund. Nice Summer Rain = Paddle On! Lightning or storm? Let’s reschedule!

What if I have never paddle boarded before?

We love beginners! Before the excursion, you will get instruction on land as well as guided instruction during the paddle. We will be there the whole time to answer questions and help out!

What if I can't stand on the paddle board?

Paddleboarding is all about having fun! If standing up isn't for you, there are plenty of alternatives. Many paddlers choose to stay on their knees or sit on the board. We also offer kayak-style seats that attach to the board, allowing you to remain seated for the entire paddle.

What gear does a paddle rental include?

The included premium accessories are a paddling life jacket, a dry bag for your belongings, and a comfortable paddle.
