About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

This session will dive deeply into child and adolescent development to help us better understand how children grow and change – physically, socially, emotionally, and academically. We will discover cognitive curiosities and appropriate activities based on common developmental characteristics that will equip us to build out resources and ideas for differentiation.

Participants will leave the session with:

  • Understanding of why it is so important to KNOW our children
  • Knowledge of typical child development by age (4-14)
  • A compilation of differentiation resources
  • Very interactive with breakout rooms and lots of practical discussion

Intended Audience: Program Staff, Site Coordinators, Program Managers

Note: It's okay to attend a session outside of your student population you serve, if that time doesn't work
