DESCRIPTION: Join TFA in partnership with Experience Tulsa to discover the hidden side of Tulsa on this engaging and unconventional walking tour through downtown. Stranger Than Fiction brings to life the little-known stories behind the city’s iconic architecture, historic landmarks, and vibrant culture. From Tulsa' first female-led heist to what was surely the wildest adoption event in Tulsa history, this tour offers a fresh perspective on the city’s past.

Along the way, you’ll uncover unexpected history —like Elvis Presley's Tulsa shenanigans, the scandalous legacy of a landmark hotel, and surprising tales of some of Tulsa’s most celebrated structures. Perfect for longtime Tulsans and newcomers alike, this tour is packed with fun facts, strange stories, and fascinating trivia that will leave you saying, “I never knew that about Tulsa!”

PARKING: There is ample street parking avaible that is free after 5:00 PM

YOUR TICKET TIME: Please arrive early to get checked in and enjoy a beverage before your tour. Please note that you will only be permitted to tour at the time you selected when purchasing your tickets. If you have questions about your ticket time, please email us a minimum of 24 hours in advance at info@tulsaarchitecture.com and we’ll be happy to provide assistance.

SUPPORT INFORMATION: This is a walking tour on city sidewalks. You'll be on foot for for aproximately 1.5 hours with non-existent seating along the tour route. If it will improve your experience, we encourage you to bring a lightweight stool, walking stick, or other assistive device!

The guide will use a personal microphone to enhance hearing ability for all on the tour. You are welcome to move closer to the guide or request a volume adjustment at any time.

ENVIRONMENT: This tour will take place outdoors.
