Take A Hike - Quarry Park

Join us for the first hike of the 2025 Take A Hike season! This hike is one of seven hikes we'll be offering as part of the 2025 Take A Hike Challenge.

Parking: We'll be meeting at the parking area at the entrance.

We will be offering one hike to the Quarry, Pond, and back through the Meadow. The hike is moderately easy and 1.3 miles long. We recommend you wear layers and hiking boots and bring water.

You must reserve a ticket here to attend the hike as we have limited staff and space to host this event.

Please Note: Heavy rain (more than 0.25 inch) will cancel this event.

Questions: Contact Katherine Wright at (650) 269-8124 or kewright@smcgov.org.

By registering for this event you are giving our staff permission to take images of you and your attendees during the event. If you wish to not be photographed, please let a staff person on site know at the beginning of the event.

The San Mateo County Department of Parks is here to provide you with recreational opportunities in a safe and effective manner, and to protect and enhance the natural resources of the County.

We operate 22 separate parks, encompassing over 16,000 acres, and 190 miles of county and local trails, including three regional trails. Parks are located throughout the County and represent a wide variety of natural settings including a coastside marine reserve, a bayside recreational area, coastal mountain woodland areas, and urban sites.
