2025 Chamber Music Concert Series


North Tahoe Hebrew Congregation Community Center, Tahoe Vista. 2-4PM

Hailed by The New York Times at its Carnegie Hall debut as “invariably energetic and finely burnished … playing with earthy vigor,” the Grammy Award-winning Catalyst Quartet features clarinetist Todd Palmer, a three-time Grammy nominated artist. The ensemble comes to Tahoe on tour after performances in San Francisco.


St. Patrick’s Church, Incline Village, 6-8pm

Rafael Aguirre is one of the most sought-after guitarists at an international level, having received 13 top First Prizes for his instrument. He comes to North Tahoe for a solo concert after a featured performance with the San Jose Symphony.


  • September 13: Haruka Fujii with the Musubi Trio - marimba, flute, violin

Fox Cultural Hall, Kings Beach, 4-6PM

In collaboration with Arts for the Schools

Multi-percussionist Haruka Fujii has become one of the most prominent solo percussionists in the area. With her will be Beni Shinohara on violin and Rayo Furuta on flute (returning to Tahoe from his July 2024 performance with Carol Wincenc.)


Olympic Valley. Chapel, Olympic Valley, 4-6PM

Prepare to be mesmerized by Sandy Yamamoto on violin, Matthew Zalkind on cello, and Julio Elizalde on piano. Described by the New York Times as playing with “explosive vigor and technical finesse,” this trio brings decades of performance experience to the stage. Their program will feature the timeless works of Haydn, Mendelssohn, and Paul Schoenfeld, promising a remarkable musical experience you won't want to miss!
