About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Tyrrellspass Tidy Towns hosts this online workshop that will examine how stormwater runoff from streets and yards impacts on nearby waterways. We will explore the nature based solutions for natural flood control, drought resilience and water filtration that can be used. Sustainable Urban Drainage systems (SUDs) come in many sizes and fit different needs: we will discuss what could be installed in a village such as Tyrrellspass in Co. Westmeath. This workshop is funded by the Local Authority Waters Programme (www.lawaters.ie)
