This Women Veteran’s Day, we’ll be gathering at the historic Hotel Northampton for a day of reflection, celebration, and education, dedicated to the remarkable women who served in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps during World War II. Throughout the day, our line up of expert speakers will discuss these women’s vital roles, the challenges they faced, and the lasting legacy they created.

Who is this event for?

We are expecting a diverse audience of veterans, students, historians, museum professionals, history lovers and reenactors. All are welcome.

What topics will be covered?

The Symposium will be covering many aspects of the history of the Navy WAVES and Marine Corps Women Reservists, including training, uniforms, the jobs they held, and what it meant to serve during World War II.

Is there parking?

Yes, the hotel has a parking lot

Will there be overnight accomodations?

Rooms are available at Hotel Northampton or Fairfield Inn & Suites Springfield Northampton/Amherst

Will meals be included?

Tickets will include breakfast, lunch, and a snack. We are happy to provide a recommendation to a local restaurant for dinner.
