Mig Welding 101 course. Skill that last a lifetime!
Learn to weld steel using MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding techniques. The class is 6 hours long and you will be trained on safety and basic welding techniques for joining metal. You will start on mild steel coupons, and will be introduced to methods of welding, and proper equipment use. You will be given a project to complete to prefect your welding skills.

Do I need to bring my own safety gear?

While the makerspace has PPE available, if you own your own helmet, jacket, gloves then please do bring them.

Lunch

There is a lunch break, 12:00 -1:00 If you bring a lunch there is a refrigerator to store it in. You can step out as there is places to eat at, or pick up a sandwich near by.
