A Cut Above is led by Owner and Executive Chef, Amy von Eiff.  Chef Amy has an extensive culinary background, specializing in International as well as Southern Cuisine. She attended Ivy Tech and studied the culinary arts abroad in Florence, Italy.  Her extensive experience in event planning and catering has been key to A Cut Above’s prominence as a premier caterer and culinary educator in Central Indiana.  

Chef Amy is most recognizable from her monthly TV spots on WISHTV's "Indy Style" where she demos her latest recipes and "chef tips".  Chef Amy was the first place winner in a cooking contest sponsored by allrecipes.com and Reader’s Digest and she also publishes food reviews and serves as a content expert for Carmel Magazine and other local media resources. 

Amy’s true passion for cooking came from watching her grandmother and mother in the kitchen before she was even tall enough to reach the kitchen counter.  Chef Amy loves to create special dishes by infusing new flavors on traditional and southern dishes. Her passion for cooking, consistent quality, and strive-for-perfection attitude are apparent in all of her creations.
