About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

Join us for our first ever Spring Fling during Open Streets on Montague on Sunday, May 18 from 12 to 4 pm with 25 free kids activities and puppet show (1 pm). We will have games, arts & crafts, soccer, face painting, building activities and obstacle course, much more.

The PuppetMobile will feature Astrid Lindgren’s Pippi Longstocking at 1 pm, presented in tandem with the 80th anniversary of the beloved book and in association with the Astrid Lindgren Foundation. Kids and families will experience the incredible adventures of quick-witted and super-strong Pippi as she overcomes bullies and burglars, all while fending off social conventions that seek to keep her in check.

Enjoy car free blocks on Montague Street from Clinton – Henry & Henry – Hicks. Best for ages 0 – 12. Open Streets on Montague is a project of the Montague Street Business Improvement District in collaboration with the Brooklyn Heights Association and the New York City Department of Transportation. Come out to play, make friends and laugh! (rain or shine)
